The Chinese University of Hong Kong Joins as Organizing Partner of the CIV2017HK Conference Will host the Academic Session and a CUHK Ventures Partner Event

We are pleased to announce the joining of the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an organizing partner of the CIV2017HK conference. The partnership, coordinated by Dean of the Business School, Prof. Kalok Chan, will be featured extensively in the conference program, and will include two events:

  1. Academic Papers Session – on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 14:00-17:00 – the event will feature talks by prominent Hong Kong scholars and the winners of CIV 2017 Venture Research Awards, and will be chaired by Prof. Chan.
  2. CUHK Ventures – on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 13:30-17:00 – a special partner event featuring new technologies and innovations by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Boasting some 30,000 students, the Chinese University is one of the leading public research universities in Hong Kong, and the only research institution in Hong Kong with Nobel Prize, Turing Award, Fields Medal and Veblen Award recipients as faculty in residence.

The CUHK Business School, established in Hong Kong in 1963, parallel to the establishment of the university, it is the ­first business school to offer BBA, MBA and Executive MBA programs in the region. The School has about 4,400 full-time and part-time students and has the largest business school alumni network in Hong Kong, with over 32,000 alumni worldwide.
