Yaron Toledo

Dr. Yaron Toledo received a BSc and a PhD in Civil Engineering while specialising on the modelling of ocean waves acquiring various distinguished fellowships, prizes and excellence notations. Through his service in the Israeli Navy’s Hydrographic branch he obtained practical experience in underwater acoustics and the East Mediterranean oceanography. Dr. Toledo is currently a senior lecturer in TAU’s School of Mechanical Engineering where he establishes a research group on wave, current and wind interactions. The group’s aim is to combine basic theoretical derivations, numerical modelling and field observations for acquiring a wholesome understanding of the fundamentals of surface wave physics and their manifestation in the Eastern Med. Sea.
