The Coller Institute of Venture is proud to sponsor the award for Most Promising PhD. at the 6th Israel Strategy Conference.
About the conference:
In a continuous effort to develop a thriving international community of strategic management scholars and promote the field of strategic management in Israel, we are proud to announce the 6th Israel Strategy Conference (ISC2015) to be held at the Hebrew University, Israel, on December 20-22, 2015. The tentative program features prominent keynote speakers: Alfonso Gambardella (Bocconi University), Gautam Ahuja (Harvard Business School), Gerry George (Singapore Management University), Myles Shaver (University of Minnesota), Weiru Chen (CEIBS). Sponsored by the Hebrew University, ISC2015 will offer a unique opportunity to present innovative ideas and explore recent developments and emerging issues in strategic management, as well as receive feedback on work-in-progress and network with colleagues.
The call for papers is now available for download, with a submission deadline of June 15, 2015. ISC will consider unpublished original paper proposals relating to core strategic topics such as: competitive strategy, resource development and allocation, strategic alliances and networks, strategy formulation and implementation, and internationalization and multinational corporations, among others. Proposals can be conceptual or empirical, quantitative or qualitative. We seek to accept a relatively small number of high-quality papers that target top tier academic journals. Submitted papers will go through a double blind review by a panel of several reviewers to evaluate their academic rigor, relevance, and contribution to the field of strategic management.
The conference will also include a doctoral consortium organized by Gary Dushnitsky (LBS) and Gino Cattani (NYU) on December 20, 2015. Please see further information under the Consortium tab. The conference is family friendly and will offer tours and social activities to attendees families during conference sessions.
