Please find below an example of a post from Dr Dalit Landesman,  one of our presenters at the Deep Innovation Workshop held on 19th May, 2014:

Prerequisites of successful innovations include a hub inventor with a burning passion combined with a wealth of optimism and the capacity to persevere and grow from mistakes, alongside versatility to brace roadblocks lurking throughout the bumpy path to market.
The most valuable innovations are designed following thorough market analysis, recognition of unmet needs and appropriate product molding to meet them. Precise definition of these needs, the market size, the required funds, regulations and milestones are the basics of proper business planning, which must be on target from the very start.
Due to the tight association between the pace and dynamics of the race to innovation and competition, products integrating multidisciplinary aspects should be preferred. Integration of numerous disciplines, both strengthen patent value and provide a competitive head start, resulting in cutting edge, groundbreaking technologies. Please see this video where she talks about one of her ongoing projects in CollerTV.
